The keynote address by Sam Wolfe, chief operating officer of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, celebrated the 30th anniversary of Imagination Library, the monthly gifts of reading for our youngest citizens made possible by the woman often referred to as the Book Lady. FOTL President Kathy Dooley-Smith explores ways of honoring Dolly Parton's request that Imagination Library books never be resold by finding ways to repurpose them for community outreach. Does your Friends group work with an individual or an entity outside your organization? If your answer is "yes," then your group needs a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with that partner. Linda Weis, past president of the Friends of the Art Circle Public Library, outlines how the group planned the celebration of their 40th anniversary. Dwight Shepherd and his Kodak Friends kept their sanity during a fast-paced capital campaign. They were rewarded for their hard work when the Gilreath Family Kodak Branch Library celebrated its grand opening on Friday, November 14, 2025. The Friends of the Spring Hill Library have found plenty of ways to turn their limited space into a home for fundraising for their library. Janice Ware pinch-hits for Lisa Arnwine in this presentation.
